Freshmen girls in the Greater Seattle area are welcome to apply to Girls on the Rise, a leadership development program with female students in mind.
Girls on the Rise is a spin-off of a similar leadership development program, called Women on the Rise. Both programs were established by Kela D. Hall, the CEO and cofounder of the KD Hall Foundation. Hall developed the programs with the concepts of education and empowerment in mind.
Girls on the Rise will be accepting 20 – 30 freshman girls into the program, which will assist participants in developing real-world leadership skills. If you (or a freshman girl you know) are in the Greater Seattle area and interested in learning how to be a capable and committed leader, Scot Rourke encourages you to apply.
